Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Flesance (“we”) handles when you use the Flesance app and the website at flesance.studio. The short version: we have no accounts, set no cookies, and your music never leaves your computer.

1. The desktop app

  • Your projects, recordings and settings are stored on your own computer.
  • The app does not send us your projects, your audio or a record of what you do in it.
  • The app connects to the internet only to download things you ask for, such as instruments from the library, and to check for updates once that feature exists.

2. The studio in the browser

  • Projects, imported audio and settings are kept in your browser’s own storage on your device. They are not uploaded to us.
  • The microphone and MIDI devices are used only after you allow them, only inside the page, and nothing they capture is sent anywhere.

3. The website

  • We set no cookies and use no advertising or third-party tracking.
  • The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and browser details for a short time in order to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse.
  • Fonts, icons and audio are served from our own site, not from third parties.

4. Planned: visitor statistics without cookies

We plan to count visits with a system we run ourselves: which pages are read, which site a visitor came from, the country, the kind of device, and which downloads are started. It will use no cookies, will not store IP addresses, and will not follow anyone across sites or visits. This policy will be updated before it is switched on.

5. Planned: accounts and subscriptions

We plan optional accounts and an optional paid subscription for syncing projects through the cloud. When they exist we will handle your email address (to sign you in with a one-time code, sent by an email delivery provider), payment details (handled by a payment provider; we will not see your card number), and the projects you choose to sync. This policy will describe them in full before they launch. Using Flesance without an account will stay possible.

6. When you write to us

If you email us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of the matter.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its use. Write to privacy@flesance.studio and we will answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Children

Flesance collects no personal information from anyone, children included. When accounts arrive, they will carry an age requirement stated at sign-up.

9. Changes

When what we do changes, this page changes first. The date at the top says when the current version took effect.
